New Security Guard House Cabin installed
Just to inform all residents that we have purchased & installed a new Security Guard House (Cabin) to replace the old Security Guard Tent (which is broken at one of its legs & leaking) at the cost of about RM 3,000.00 on 5 June 2012. We will be collecting RM 150.00 from each residents for the cost of this new security guard cabin. We are hoping to be able to apply for the power to be connected to this new security guard cabin to provide better lighting at night in the light of the recent attack on both our guards.
We have also changed the security services operation time to 7.30 pm till 7.30 am instead of the old 7.00 pm till 7.00 am security time since it is still bright around 7.00 pm and still dark around 7.00 am in the morning.

Our Security Guards attacked & robbed on 23 May 2012
Just to inform all residents that both our security guards were attacked & robbed in the early morning hours at about 5.00 am on 23 May 2012 at the guard house by a group of 5 Indian men in a car. Both our security guards lost all their moneys & handphones after they were attacked by the men in the car when they were stopped from entering our housing area at the guard post. One of the security guard was quite badly beaten (beaten using the patrol batton stick on his head) and was hospitalised for 3 days. A police report was lodged by the security guard company and the Residents Committee had a meeting with the deputy Ketua Balai Polis of Kota Damansara (Sgt. Abd. Latif) at the place of incidents a few nights later to discuss the incident and new security measures to be undertaken. The Residents Committee made a decision & to replace the existing damaged old Security Guard Tent with a new Security Guard Cabin come with lighting points and a spotlight will be fixed on it if we can get power to be connected to the new Cabin at the suggestion of Sgt. Abd. Latif.

Maid sneaking out in the early morning?
An incident believed to be the Indonesian maid of one of our residents (Mr. Thomas Wong, 21, Jln. Kenyalang 11/4C) sneaking out of the house early in the morning and returning back about an hour an a half later caught the attention of our security guard who went to investigate and found the person climbing over Mr. Thomas Wong's fence and entering his house through the kitchen door.
Below is the image taken from a CCTV recording of the whole incident.
At around 2.42 am in the morning of 30 Aug 2011, the person with a towel or some kind of clothing covering her head (believed to be the Indonesian maid of Mr. Thomas Wong) was seen leaving his house here to go and meet someone (possibly the construction site as she did not pass by the security gate/checkpoint)
At around 4.23 am, the person(maid) was seen passing by my house to return back to Mr. Wong's house.
However one of our security guard spotted the maid at a distance and followed her back. She was seen climbing over Mr. Wong's fence to get into his house. He then went to Mr. Thomas's house to ring his door bell to alert him, but the doorbell was out of order (not working).
Both the security guards came over to my house. One of the security guard (En. Ajak) then called me on my handphone at around 5.10 am to wake me up to inform me of the suspicious character seen climbing over the fence of Mr. Thomas.
I then called Mr. Thomas Wong to inform him of the suspicious character seen climbing over his fence as reported by the security guard (En. Ajak).
He then called the Kota Damansara police station to send someone over to investigate.
The police car arrived and Mr. Thomas replayed his CCTV footage over the incident. From the CCTV recordings, it was clear that his maid was seen leaving the house through his kitchen at around that time (2.42 am). Since there was no forced entry into his house, the police deduced that it must have been his maid and not any outside intruder entering his house.

A near house break-In averted!
On 2011 August 27, around 6am in the morning. one of our neighbours Mr. Phillip (3, Jln. Kenyalang 11/4C) suspected someone walking on his roof. He heard footsteps, so to make sure what he was hearing was correct, he shouted out loud and it shocked the person on the roof, as he/she jumped to the water storage tank area. Then he heard footsteps running on the roof again. He sounded the alarm and went out to check. The security guard came over, and he explained what had happened. We hope residents of Bayu Perdana 2 would take caution and be on the alert!!! (Taken from comment sent)
If anyone suspects any suspicious character in our vicinity, we should immediately sound the house alarm if we have one, or else sound the car alarm to frighten away the would-be intruder. Immediately call our Security Guard on his handphone (En. Mahmood H/p : 014-642 3023 or En. Ajak H/p : 010-246 6598) or better still we can call the nearest Balai Polis Kota Damansara at 03-6142 1222. Ask the Polis Station to send a patrol car to check out the suspicious chararter or would-be intruder. Remember we (the Rakyat) are paying the salary of the Policeman, so they are abliged to respond to our calls.

Daytime Security for Hari Raya Season
The Committee Members have all agreed to hire 1 no. of security guard to provide security services from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm for the Hari Raya season starting from Friday 26th August 2011 until Sunday 4th Sept. 2011 (10 days period). Thus we will have round the clock security services for 10 days for the Hari Raya season to prevent any untoward break-ins or roberries. We think the little balance from our security collection will be enough to pay for this daytime security services without having to collect any additional fees from all residents.
We hope that each and every residents will help one another to keep a watchful eye for those paying residents who will be going outstation or 'balik kampung' during this Hari Raya season.
